History

Reimann Manufacturing specialises in pressure vessel and pressure pipe work, fabrication and welding. With experience in Australian industry circles, Reimann Manufacturing goes back four generations.

Established in 1951 by Berthold and Les Reimann, JB Reimann & Son embarked on a period of expansion and development with two workshops. One in South Australia and the other in Western Australia, making bulk storage fuel tanks with contracts covering SA, WA and NT and producing a number of Reimann branded products including plate rolls, cut to length lines and machine tools.

In 1979 the company was bought by Emco Wheaton, a worldwide company supplying the petroleum industry. Les Reimann stayed on as an influential consultant.

ML Reimann Manufacturing was established in 1989 by Les’ son Michael and started out providing a service of mass production and general fabrication. In 1998 Michael took the company in a new direction, diversifying into certified welding and setting new certified weld procedures, as well as pressure vessel manufacturing and pipe spooling.

In 2007 Matthew joined his father Michael to establish Reimann Manufacturing Pty Ltd. In 2012 Stuart Reimann joined the family business. With strong foundations set by Berthold, Leslie and Michael now in its forth generation and a well structured team, the business continues to grow substantially. Increasing its capabilities to include on-site pipeline welding services and labour for shut downs, Reimann Manufacturing has become a well trusted name in the welding industry.

Reimann Manufacturing have worked on a range of pipelines across Australia, from the Snowy Mountains to Mildura just to name a few; supplying welding crews and site trucks.

In the workshop Reimann Manufacturing produce on average over 200 pressure vessels per year and countless pipe spool packages for a diverse range of clients.
